We are currently searching for a Purchasing Clerk for our manufacturing facility in Clover, South Carolina.
Job Description:
Fill out all required departments requisitions as appropriate.
Process new purchase order request.
Check pricing, extensions, and totals where applicable.
Compare quantities to receiving documents.
Investigate and rectify discrepancies.
Keep management abreast of any unusual operational and/or deviations of policies or procedures.
Provide polite and professional communication to all employees and vendors.
Maintaining records.
Create and track purchase orders and ensure accuracy and timeliness of deliveries.
Collaborate with departments to determine procurement needs (perform related administration and clerical duties as assigned).
Monitor inventory levels and track procurement metrics.
Reconcile purchase orders and receiving documentations.
Maintain daily receiving logs for all products and services received.
Prepares inventory order reports.
Follow up on outstanding orders with vendors.
Evaluates responses; submits purchase orders based on quoted results.
Full-time, in the office setting.
