Job Description:
A well-established, manufacturing company in York County south of Fort Mill, SC, is hiring a Controller.
The Controller will be responsible for providing support to the CFO.
Must have recent manufacturing experience coupled with heavy cost Major responsibilities ?Check deliverables of self and team to certify they meet expectations - Occasionally perform duties beyond formal job responsibilities - Complete month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, reconcile accounts, and handle G/L analysis - Work closely with executive team and partners to ensure efficient and successful company-wide operation - Analyze, apply and improve policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies - Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts and monitor on a monthly basis - Produce cash-flow reports, calculating cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, and manage daily cash - Direct finance department activities, such as accounts payable, billings collections, and payroll - Support Finance Department initiatives, such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, with research, planning, and implementation, as required - Manage the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques to make sure cash collection is on time - Each month, present executive committee and partners with financial reports - This company plans to begin interviewing immediately.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
